This is not a story about victimhood. It is a story about endurance.
Some people spend their lives building roots, but I spent mine searching for them. I was born into uncertainty and raised in a home where love often came wrapped in fear, silence, and survival. Life repeatedly stripped everything away from me. I navigated adoption trauma, family estrangement, and profound loss, all while raising my daughter as a single parent.
For years I forged my way through a world that constantly underestimated me. People saw me as a target and used me for their benefit, leaving me entirely depleted. They thought I was disposable. But instead of letting those experiences destroy me, I used them to fuel a lifelong search for truth.
I realized that authentic peace requires the courage to face difficult truths. We have to stop living according to inherited expectations and consciously decide who we want to become. Healing ourselves is the first vital step to healing the world, and I wrote this book to help you take that step.
